Oats Upma

Hi all! Here’s a healthy twist on traditional upma:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 small carrot (grated)
  • 1 green chili (chopped)
  • Salt and spices (like mustard seeds and curry leaves)

Instructions:

  1. Dry roast oats in a pan until lightly golden. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, then onions and carrots. Cook until soft.
  3. Add green chili and spices, then mix in the oats.
  4. Add a little water and cook for 2-3 minutes.

A quick and nutritious option for busy mornings!
